Porcelain Inlays

Parvis Dental are pleased to offer our patients porcelain inlays in Coventry. Porcelain and composite Onlays and inlays are white fillings made in the dental laboratory and fitted onto usually the chewing surfaces of the back teeth.

They are  very durable cosmetic fillings that involve two visits to your dentists .

At the first visit  any decay is removed from your tooth, a mould taken and a temporary filling placed.

The Dental technician then uses the mould provided to make the tooth coloured filling in the laboratory which is then cemented in by your dentist at your second visits.

These type of fillings are a more durable alternative to  the “normal “ white fillings your dentist might place in your teeth at a single visit , usually in larger fillings which might be more prone to chipping or breaking otherwise.
